Who we are We’re an ISO-9001 certified and ISO 17025 accredited laboratory that is providing more than 60 diagnostic services for horses.  However, more than 90% of our activities are dedicated to research, development and innovation of better diagnostics and therapies for horses. Equigerminal is an equine biotech company founded in 2011 on February the 9th with the goal of improving the welfare, health and performance of horses, using state of the art biotechnology solutions. Our ambition is to develop an innovative pharma for horses, able to protect health, investigate, prevent and treat the diseases of horses. We are pioneers in the establishment of a biotech company entirely dedicated to horses! What drives us We are driven by the passion for horses and science! Our major drive is to stop horse suffering and the elimination of infected carriers... At Equigerminal, we're developing innovative diagnostics and antiviral solutions to protect the health/welfare of horses, to fight viral infections and prevent the elimination of infected carriers.
